Had a few telephone conversations with Jamie re buying a 4x4 Land Rover of which my son was interested in buying. Several helpful conversations later we decided on seeking to buy a land cruiser ( long story )Not the easiest of vehicles to source which we soon discovered.After o lot of trial & error searches we decided to wait for one that Jamie had ‘coming in, details soon ‘The wait was longer than expected but well worth the wait as my son now owns a low miles, been through all the checks motor. A very trustworthy company who deliver what they say.seems as though they get the pleasure from getting you what you want, a good reliable motor. A pleasure to know Jamie & his grandad a relationship which hopefully will continue for years to come. Looking forward to there new premised where you might even get a brew 😃😡👍

I sold my car to Barry Ashworth 4x4 and felt I received good honest advice and Covid safe hand over. I thought my car was in pretty good condition for a 7 year old car. I knew I had one scratch and a sale figure was settled on. Unfortunately for me I hadn’t noticed some other scratches, which were clearly visible on the paint work once pointed out and the hub caps needed replacing. These did bring the price down , which, although disappointing, I felt it was brought down by a reasonable. Had I had the work done before the sale, it more than likely would have cost me more. If I was looking to buy a pre-owned 4x4 I would certainly look at Barry Ashworth’s . I would also recommend them to anyone wanting to sell one, but don’t be disappointed if they don’t find your car as pristine as you think it is. It’s a shame other pre-owned garages don’t have such a rigorous inspection process

bought a Isuzu pickup in jan 21, tidy truck, as described The guys did all the relevant paper work to have me on my way quickly , which was most appreciated. The extras I asked for were in place on collection , the truck was ready to go. This was a used but well looked after truck and will be a useful addition to our company. Recently bought a Skoda yeti from Barry, excellent service and can not recommend him enough when above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase well worth the 2 and a half hour drive to collect the vehicle. Wow . Everybody must of heard of hastle free and then to be messed about with one thing or another .This is definitely not how Barry Ashworth 4x4 sales operates . When purchasing a new vehicle or any expensive item you always have the element of doubt to if your doing the right thing . From the first cantact i had with Jamie to the still ongoing calls to make sure everything was perfect i knew i had made the right choice . I was made to feel welcome when i arrived to view there extensive collection of vehicles. Jamie spent a long time explaining the ins and outs of the 4x4 with me explaining what every control did and when the best time and situation to activate. Thank you very much for all your hard work and effort to make sure the right vehicle was chosen.
